STRONG GREEN/BLUE AJOITE INCLUSIONS IN BADLY FRACTURED CLEAR QUARTZ CRYSTAL

The top end of a clear quartz crystal which has many old stress fractures. The result being there is no solid cap (outer layer) covering the termination. Regrowth has occurred and all the AJOITE areas are completely re-covered.This crystal displays some beautiful strong blue/green  AJOITE  sprays throughout the termination.  The reddish-brown colour in the termination is an iron rich soil stain and there are inclusions of red hematite and micro threads of Native Copper. Not a particulary attractive to look at in its natural form, it has enormous potential to become a spectacular specimen if correctly cleaned and polished.
