ATTRACTIVE DOUBLE TERMINATED AJOITE CRYSTAL

This medium clear quartz crystal has a natural stress fracture running through one side of the almost intact termination, giving the point an adamantine luster. The inside of the fracture is stained an attractive orange brown colour from the soil. The termination has AJOITE fibres clearly visable in all six faces. The fibre colours vary from blue/green to white. Transparency is excellent in the top half of this crystal, the lower half becomming a light milky white. The base is self healed and well preserved. There are inclusions of minute Piedmontite (red Epidote crystals) and some Specularite visable. Overall condition, colour and luster are good. Unpolished, with a light waterwash.
