The most popular and famous colour is the deep purple (sometimes confused with Amethyst), but FLUORITE is also quite spectacular in greens, blues, yellows, pink, orange, black, browns and combinations of colours. Under a UV light FLUORITE is often fluorescent and even this shows an extreme variance in colours.
Its crystal form is also varied - the most recognised habit being the "cube", but is also exist in "octahedron", "octahedral", and "dodecahedral" (and a few other rarer forms). FLUORITE occurs in association with many lead/zinc deposits worldwide and is often hosted in limestone, dolomites and granite pegmatites. FLOURITE is relatively common in southern Africa, but some of the finest specimens come from north of the Otiwarongo district in Namibia.
Depending on the colour these amazing crystals will help clear and open all blockages in the Chakras. Light workers use them as amplifiers, especially in their naturally occurring pyramid form, channelling healing light and wisdom from evolved teachers who live in higher realms. It is also useful when protecting oneself against computer and electromagnetic stress.
