The ancients believed that CELESTINE (also known as Celestite) crystals were created by angel song from the celestial choirs and they called them "the stones of Heaven" because of their beautiful pale blue colour.

The crystal is used to facilitate contact with both the spiritual and Angelic realms, and encourages spiritual development and pureness. As with all blue crystals, CELESTITE is an effective opener and healer of the Throat Chakra, and is an excellent healing stone when used for dissolving pain and bringing in love.

These transparent prismatic crystals are generally clusters or geodes and found mainly in limestone and other sedimentary rocks. Some of the finest specimens come from northern Madagasca, but CELESTINE crystals occurs throughout Britain, U.S.A., and Europe.
