BLUE LACE AGATE is made up of multipal bands, or laminations, of blues and white chalcedony, (micro-crystalline quartz, ) in thin irregular layers. A famous deposit of BLUE LACE AGATE occurs in Southern Namibia, in veins associated with Dolerite.
